Biography:

Wes Shumate received his Bachelor of Science from Murray State University in 2001 and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2004. While attending UMKC he was a member of the National Trial Advocacy Team and was selected into the Order of Barristers for his skills in trial advocacy.

Mr. Shumate is licensed to practice law in the states of Tennessee and Missouri and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court- Western District of Tennessee.

Mr. Shumate's civil practice consists of representing plaintiffs in the areas of automobile/tractor-trailer litigation, product liability, professional negligence, and premises liability. He is a member of the Missouri Bar, the Tennessee Bar Association, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice.
