We have become well-known through cases such as the $2.2 billion verdict a jury awarded to a cancer patient against a pharmacist who was diluting chemotherapy drugs. This courtroom victory gained national coverage when one of the firm’s partners, Grant Davis, appeared on the Today Show with Katie Couric to discuss aspects of the case. Another notable case was $160 million verdict for a woman suffering from a catastrophic injury as a result of a railroad crossing accident. Union Pacific Railroad was forced to take responsibility after earlier refusing to acknowledge near miss accidents and a previous death from a railroad crossing accident for which they claimed no fault.
