Erica M. Collins

Erica M.Collins is an associate attorney at DBJ, where she represents individuals in personal injury, wrongful death, motor vehicle collisions, and other civil litigation matters. She is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas.
A native of Washington, Missouri, Erica earned her B.A. in Psychology from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, where she also pursued her passion for theatre arts. She went on to earn her J.D. from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law. During law school, she was named to the Dean’s List, served as a UMKC All Journal Staff Member, was a member of Phi Delta Phi, and was published in the Journal of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
Erica began her legal career in 2017, gaining extensive experience handling every stage of litigation, from discovery and legal briefing to trial preparation and courtroom advocacy. Erica is particularly known for her ability to build trust and rapport with clients, communicate clearly and empathetically, and deliver high-quality work product on even the most complex cases.
In 2025, Erica joined DBJ, bringing with her a deep commitment to client-centered advocacy and a strong record of success in civil litigation. She approaches each case with meticulous preparation, creativity, and genuine care, driven by the belief that the work she does has a lasting impact on the lives of the people she serves.
Outside of her legal practice, Erica enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
